The best days

Sitting around the house reading and playing with Cash today. Vikki and I often feel so blessed. Today I have been thinking a lot about food (what's new). Thinking about food naturally leads me to thinking about gardening and our house. We love our house. This past week we had a party for Cash's first birthday which made my love for our house grow even deeper. We bought two banquette tables and set up shop in the back yard. We put up a buffet shelf on the shed, set out some potted plants, and threw down a comforter for Cash and Tanner (Vikki's OB's baby). The whole scene made me smile. It also helped that Dad took over several tasks so I could enjoy myself! I love our house! Mostly because it reminds me of all of the important things in my life: food, family, friends, and free time. Take away any of them and I don't think I would like to hang around. They make for the best days! Guard all of them with your life!
